I wanted to start this off by saying that I LOVE Guild Wars. With each campaign came new adventure for me. I wasn't as excited about the idea of an expansion pack but I still enjoyed the hell out of Eye Of The North. The storyline has been great. In some instance I am excited for Guild Wars 2 but at other times I'm a little upset that I won't be able to use my characters in it. Is there a way for ArenaNet to come out with another campaign for GW? I know that the lands in Nightfall(Elona) and Prophecies(Tyria) are connected. It was great when I passed from one land into the other for the first time. Is it possible to come up with a new campaign that's linked to Cantha? I really got into that land and I liked the alliance aspect of it.This is how I feel and I'm pretty sure a lot of other GW veterans would like to continue to play their current characters for a while longer.

Anet said that they wont be making any new campaigns for gw cause they are too busy working on gw2

Utopia is the next campaign. It was axed. Can't do anything but wait for GW2 to come out.

I would definitely buy whatever campaigns that is made for GW1, Hear us now arena net! Its business not personal! lololol, sorry can't help it.

More campaigens...And then every single outpost will be simple empty, gw will be nothing but a single player by the end of it...

I just want them move forward the release of GW2 to about, oh... six months from now? I doubt I'll having anything left to do (that I'm willing to do) after that.

Nobody and everybody wants to hear it, but I'm glad we're moving on to Guild Wars 2.

I would agree if they do it right. But, I have seen how they do so far, and I am not pleased. Many of us are unhappy that toons we have speen hundreds of hours playing, will become blips in history.

From another game I liked:
Diablo-Diablo 2
The hero who defeats Diablo in game one, is possessed, by Diablo and in turn killed in game 2. You get to watch the cinematics watching his withering death at a powerful foe. Then you as the hero get to seek revenge. It was cool to see what happened to your toon in game 1, even if it was a crappy death.

GW2 200 years later, you did some stuff and died. But now this new kid gets to do stuff to. Until GW3 in which they have did some stuff and died.

I want closure for my old chars before I start a new one.

Wouldn't complain if they somehow rezzed Utopia but can't see that happening.

im pretty certain a lot of the utopia material was recycled into eotn and wutnots
and we've already seen/played most of it

Yup, but quite a lot's been left out as well. Check for some of the concept art, especially some of the armours they had going. That medusa armour. Drools....

But again, don't see this happening.
